Magdalena Semczyszyn, Ph. D.

Department of Recent Political History

Magdalena Semczyszyn is a historian and an Assistant Professor at the Department of Recent Political History. Her research interests concern the issues of national minorities, interethnic relations and state policy towards minorities. The main area of her research is the post-war history of European Jews and Polish-Israeli relations. She was a fellow of The Center for Urban History (Lviv), European Holocaust Research Infrastructure (London), Forum Transregionale Studien (Berlin) and The Institute for the History of Polish Jewry and Israel-Poland Relations (Tel Aviv University).
