The Institute of Political Studies of the Polish Academy of Sciences (IPS PAS) is committed to provide access to its websites pursuant to the Act of 4th April 2019 on digital accessibility of websites and mobile applications of public entities. Multimedia files published since 23rd September 2020 are excluded from the Act of 4th April 2019 on digital accessibility of websites and mobile applications of public entities (Journal of Laws, item 848 from 2019) on the basis of article 3 paragraph 2 point 5 and point 7 letters b and c of said Act.

Everyone is legible to request for digital accessibility of this website or its segments.
In your request be sure to include the following information:
- Your name and surname,
- Your contact details (for example phone number, e-mail address ect.),
- Precise web address of the content you can not access,
- Detailed description of the issue and the proposed solution that would be the most convenient for you.
Your request will be processed in the shortest period of time possible, within 7 days of receipt.
In case of the process of solving your request takes longer that aforementioned 7 days, you will be informed about it. Our message will include the new deadline for the necessairy website updates to take place. This new period will be no longer than 2 months.
In case we are unable to assure the digital accessibility to website’s content listed in your request, we will propose you an alternative access to said website’s content.
In case we deny your request for digital accessibility and you do not agree with said decision you are entitled to file a complaint against said decision.
You are also entitled to file a complaint in case you do not agree with our offer of alternative access to the website’s content proposed by the Institute in response to your initial request.

- The IPS PAS main entrance at Polna 18/20 in Warsaw has two steps up to the entrance. A door phone system is provided at the main entrance, enabling to summon an employee and ask for assistance. The Main Office is located to the right. Accessible wheelchair locations are limited to the corridor and offices in the ground floor. There are no elevators in the venue. You can enter the building and all its rooms with an assistance or a guide dog. None of the restrooms are wheelchair accessible.
- The Richard Pipes Library and Laboratory located at Oleandrów 2/4 has one step up to the entrance. A video door phone intercom system is provided, enabling to summon an employee and ask for assistance.
Ground-level premises are accessible for wheelchairs and people with assistance dogs. None of the restrooms is wheelchair accessible. There is neither Braille nor contrast marking, nor enlarged printing for blind and visually impaired people in the building. The Institute does not provide any disabled parking spaces.
