Accessibility Statement
The Institute of Political Studies of the Polish Academy of Sciences (IPS PAS) is committed to provide access to its websites pursuant to the Act of 4   th April 2019 on digital accessibility of websites and mobile applications of public entities. The following statement is valid for websites hosted on  isppan.waw.pl and politic.edu.pl domains only.
Our websites are fully navigable both with a keyboard only and a mouse.
The websites listed above are partially compliant with web content accessibility guidelines 2.1 regarding websites and mobile applications in respect of accessibility for disabled persons as described in the Appendix to the Act of 4 th April 2019 (item 848), due to the non-compliances and exceptions listed below. The website    www.isppan.waw.pl has been published in 2014, the latest major update being made in 2020. Internal website audit has been performed in the period 11-21.09.2020 with regard to the checklist published by the Ministry of Digital Affairs on 4   th February 2020. The following statement has been drawn up on 22  nd September 2020.
Non-compliances and Exceptions
The pages may require vertical scrolling. The pages use presentation markup to convey the structure (e.g. center). The pages lack audio description and sound recording elements. IPS PAS cannot arrange a sign language interpreter/ translator services.

Architectural Accessibility
The IPS PAS main entrance at Polna 18/20 in Warsaw has two steps up to the entrance. A door phone system is provided at the main entrance, enabling to summon an employee and ask for assistance. The Main Office is located to the right. Accessible wheelchair locations are limited to the corridor and offices in the ground floor. There are no elevators in the venue. You can enter the building and all its rooms with an assistance or a guide dog. There is neither a wheelchair accessible restroom nor disabled parking spaces. There is neither Braille nor contrast marking, nor enlarged printing for blind and visually impaired people in the building.
The Richard Pipes Library and Laboratory located at Oleandrów 2/4 has one step up to the entrance. A video door phone intercom system is provided, enabling to summon an employee and ask for assistance. It is a ground level premises accessible for wheelchairs and people with assistance dogs. There is neither a wheelchair accessible restroom, Braille or contrast marking, or enlarged printing for blind and visually impaired people in the building nor are there any disabled parking spaces.
